Chicago White Sox DFS SPIN
Lance Lynn tossed seven innings of one-run ball Monday in a no-decision versus the Twins. Making his first start since signing that two-year, $38 million contract extension with the White Sox over the weekend, the 34-year-old right-hander was in complete control until he served up a game-tying solo homer to Nelson Cruz in the top of the sixth. Chicago then fell in extras in the first half of the twin-bill. Lynn stands 9-3 on the season with a shiny 1.94 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 109/32 K/BB ratio in 97 2/3 innings. He’ll get the Brewers at Milwaukee next.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS Spin
Brandon Woodruff pitched decently in a no-decision against the Reds on Saturday, racking up eight strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings of two-run baseball. The right-hander allowed just two hits and four walks on the night. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning as Shogo Akiyama plated a run with a fielder’s choice and Kyle Farmer delivered an RBI double. The All-Star hurler now boasts a 2.12 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 137/29 K/BB ratio across 119 innings on the season. He’ll take on the White Sox his next time out at home on Saturday.
