Chicago White Sox DFS SPIN
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol told reporters Wednesday that he’s unsure if Yoán Moncada (back) will require a trip to the injured list. Grifol divulged to reporters that Moncada is dealing with an ongoing back issue, which has been a recurring problem throughout the 2023 campaign so far, and might end up needing some time off. He’s out of Chicago’s lineup for Wednesday’s showdown against the Dodgers and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him land on the injured list later this week. His absence would open a clear avenue for slugger Jake Burger to take over at third base.
Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN
Max Muncy has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that he hopes Muncy will be ready to return on Saturday, which means he’ll wind up missing at least two additional games this week. The positive news here is that the 32-year-old slugger appears unlikely to land on the injured list, unless he’s not ready to return this weekend. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.
