Chicago White Sox DFS SPIN
Dylan Cease allowed three runs over five laborious innings Wednesday in a loss to the Rockies. A home matchup versus the Rockies is about as favorable as they come, but Cease just didn’t have it in this one. He did strike out eight but needed 107 pitches to cover his five innings. Cease had been dominant his last few times out, so he’ll try to just flush this one and rebound versus the Guardians.
Cleveland Guardians DFS SPIN
James Karinchak picked up a save Wednesday against the Angels. Emmanuel Clase was due a day of rest, so manager Tito Francona turned to Karinchak to protect a two-run lead. He yielded a leadoff double to Luis Rengifo but bounced back to retire the next three in order, including one via strikeout. It’s the third save this season for Karinchak, who has some standalone value even without saves with as well as he’s pitched.
