Chicago White Sox DFS SPIN
Tim Anderson reached three times Thursday, going 2-for-3 with a walk versus the Mets. He was erased on a pickoff after the walk, but let’s focus on the positive. Anderson has gone 9-for-24 to start the second half, raising his average from .223 to .235.
Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Byron Buxton went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts on Thursday in the Twins’ shutout loss to the Mariners. Yikes. Buxton remained mired in an epic offensive slump at the dish on Thursday afternoon, despite sitting out a pair of contests earlier this week to reset mentally. He’s gone hitless in 28 consecutive plate appearances dating back to July 8 and is 0-for-25 with 15 strikeouts during that span. It’s not good and there don’t appear to be any easy answers at the moment to alleviate his prolonged struggles.

White Sox vs. Twins MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Joe Ryan has won just one of his past nine starts, but it’s not as if he’s pitched poorly. He’s 8-6 on the year with a 3.77 ERA and owns a 1.80 ERA in two career starts that span 10 innings against the White Sox. One of those outings came earlier this season in Chicago when he surrendered just one hit and walked two while striking out seven in six scoreless innings during a 3-2 Minnesota victory in extra innings. Lynn, meanwhile, is 2-2 with a 4.50 ERA in nine career starts versus his former team. While he did strike out 10 at Minnesota on April 11, he’s still got a 6.06 ERA on the season. Even if Lynn pitches well, the Twins are still likely to get to this Chicago bullpen at some point.
