Chicago White Sox DFS Notes
Yasmani Grandal (knee) is close to beginning a minor league rehab assignment. It sounds like it could get underway sometime later this week. Grandal has made swift progress in his recovery from July 7 surgery to repair a tendon tear in his left knee and should be back with the White Sox well before the end of this month. Looking past the .188 batting average, he was sporting a strong .824 OPS with 14 home runs and 38 RBI through 63 games played when he went on the IL on July 6.
Minnesota Twins DFS Notes
Josh Donaldson (hamstring) is back in the Twins’ starting lineup on Tuesday. Donaldson, who’s been hobbled by some lingering hamstring discomfort, will DH and bat third against the White Sox and left-hander Dallas Keuchel.
