Cy Young Award candidate Corey Kluber (12-4, 2.65 ERA) will go for Cleveland, while Luis Severino (11-5, 3.10). Kluber has a 0.91 WHIP and 208 strikeouts in 152 1/3 innings. He has a 1.89 ERA in five August starts, with the Indians winning four of them. Severino has allowed zero or one earned runs in seven of his last eight starts. The one anomaly is an August 12 start where he gave up eight earned runs in a 10-5 home loss to Boston. He has a 1.10 WHIP with 183 strikeouts in 156 2/3 innings.

The Indians will come in with a 73-56 record and are 37-27 on the road, while the Yankees are 70-59 and 37-23 at home. The season series is tied at 2-2, while the over-under is 1-2-1.

On Sunday, Cleveland shut out the visiting Royals for an incredible third straight day with a 12-0 victory. It was the fourth win in a row for the Indians. Carlos Carrasco threw seven scoreless innings, striking out eight to get the win. Cleveland scored three in the first and nine in the second for all its runs. Francisco Lindor, Carlos Santana and Yan Gomes all homered. The Yankees won for the second day in a row over the Mariners Sunday with a 10-1 home win. Masahiro Tanaka threw seven one-run innings with 10 strikeouts for the win. Starlin Castro was 4-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Ronald Torreyes was 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Jacoby Ellsbury finished 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs. Gary Sanchez was 2-for-4 with a walk, a run and an RBI.

Bet on Indians vs. Yankees

Two great pitchers and two teams coming in hot. This will be a great game to watch. Kluber has been lights out as of late, but Cleveland has to travel and the Yankees can stay in New York. Severino is in a great groove lately, aside from one start. Take the hosts.
