CC Sabathia held the Rays off the scoreboard for five innings in Tuesday’s 5-0 victory. He struck out just two and was pulled after 85 pitches covering five innings, but he only allowed three singles and a couple of walks. Aroldis Chapman also struck out two over a scoreless inning in a non-save situation.
Jake Odorizzi was charged with four runs on seven hits and two walks across six innings in the loss last night. He allowed a two-run shot by Ronald Torreyes and needed 107 pitches to work through six frames.
