Reds vs. Brewers Prediction
After dropping the first two games of the series, will the Reds rebound with a win today over the Brewers at 1:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Reds are -111 money line favorites to knock off the Brewers, who have odds of +101 to pull off the small upset. With Zach Davies set to face Brandon Finnegan in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 8.5 runs.

BREWERS KEY TRENDS: The Brewers are now a perfect 6-0 in their last six road games and are 4-0 in their last four games overall. They’re also 6-1 in their last seven road games versus a left-handed starter and have won 15 of their last 21 games versus a left-handed starter overall. That said, they’re just 1-6 in Davies’ last seven starts after scoring five runs or more in their previous game.
REDS KEY TRENDS: The Reds are still 7-3 in their last 10 games overall but are now 4-9 in their last 13 home games. They’re 4-1 in Finnegan’s last five starts, are 6-1 in his last seven outings versus National League Central opponents, but are just 2-10 in his last 12 outings when he starts the third game of a series.
Bet Today’s Brewers vs. Reds Game
OUR PICK: Davies has yet to find his fastball command and thus, hasn’t been very effective. He allowed five earned runs and seven hits in five innings of work against the Cubs last Sunday, which included allowing four runs in the first inning. Finnegan, meanwhile, needed 69 pitches to record six outs in his second start of the season on Monday against the Pirates, but was excellent in his season debut versus the Phillies. I like Finnegan to bounce back and for Davies to struggle again, leading to a Reds’ victory.
