Rangers vs. Orioles Pick
Can the Baltimore Orioles string together a win streak when they host the Texas Rangers again tonight at 7:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Baltimore is favored at home, as the Orioles are getting odds of -135 to win, while the Rangers are listed with a money line of +125 to win. The over/under total has been set at 10.5 runs.

The pitching matchup today has Kevin Gausman (5-7, 6.39 ERA) on the mound for the Orioles to face Martin Perez (5-6, 4.55) of the Rangers. Gausman has struggled most of the season and coming off two starts where he allowed a total of 13 earned runs over seven innings of work. He has 88 strikeouts with 44 walks this season and a 1.79 WHIP. Perez has been okay, but nothing special. He has allowed three earned runs or less in his last three starts. He has 65 strikeouts and 37 walks on the year with a 1.64 WHIP.
The Orioles have won the first two games of this series, as Baltimore picked up a 3-1 win on Monday and a 12-1 win on Tuesday. Texas is now 45-48 on the season and 20-28 on the road while Baltimore is 44-49 overall and 27-19 at home.
Baltimore dominated on Tuesday, as they lit up Tyson Ross for nine runs in 3.1 innings. Dylan Bundy pitched six innings for Baltimore and allowed just one run on four hits to get his ninth win of 2017. The Orioles had four home runs at the plate. Chris Davis had two home runs and six RBI to lead the team while Trey Mancini and Seth Smith also homered in the win. Texas’ lone run came on a Shin-Soo Choo home run.
I don’t care for Gausman on the mound, but I feel like Baltimore has found something at the plate in this series and the Orioles should continue to build on that against Perez. Texas has been struggling with their bats in this series, so I think Gausman can find a way to manufacture a good outing. Look for the Orioles to get to Perez early and then hold off the Rangers late.
