The Royals were a no-show in Game 3 as Noah Syndergaard pitched well at home, as he normally does. Now the Royals send 6-10 veteran Chris Young to the mound, who will give them about five solid innings while the bullpen will clean up. Young has allowed just four runs over his last four outings.
Rookie Steven Matz is talented but is also inexperienced and limited in terms of innings. If both pitchers depend on their bullpens, then the Royals easily come out on top.
