The Chicago Cubs are a month into their championship reign. As the 2017 season approaches, are they favored to repeat?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Cubs are the favorite to win the World Series again next season, as they have +350 odds. Other short odds to win are the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians, as they each have +1000 odds.

Chicago is coming off a 103-58 record last year and eventually snapped its streak of over 100 years without a World Series. The Cubs were a dominant team, scoring 808 runs while giving up just 556. Their +252 run differential was the best in the majors by nearly 100 runs.

The Red Sox were hot late in the season and went on to win the AL East. Boston had a +184 run differential as it scored 878 runs and allowed 694. Boston was eliminated by Cleveland in the ALDS.

Cleveland took Chicago to 7 games in the World Series before coming up short. The Indians were 94-67 last season and won the AL Central with a +101 run differential. They scored 777 runs and allowed 676.
