New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Luis Severino will start on Sunday against the Blue Jays. Severino will take the mound for Sunday’s series finale in Toronto after being scratched Thursday against Tampa Bay when he landed on the COVID-19 injured list just a few hours before his scheduled outing. He reportedly was experiencing some symptoms, which caused him to land on the injured list, but wound up testing negative for the virus. Gerrit Cole will be bumped back to start on Monday against the Rays.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Yusei Kikuchi was charged with four runs in four-plus innings Tuesday in a loss to the Orioles. The roller coaster ride with Kikuchi continues. He issued four walks for the second start in a row Tuesday and also served up a couple of home runs, with the second one off the bat of Austin Hays to lead off the fifth which chased Kikuchi from the game. After an excellent May, Kikuchi has allowed 11 runs while walking eight over 9 1/3 innings in his first three June starts. Fantasy managers should probably avoid Kikuchi this weekend against the Yankees.
