New York Yankees DFS Spin
Aaron Judge homered Tuesday as the Yankees trounced the Indians in Game 1 of the Wild Card Series. Judge got the party started against Shane Bieber and the Tribe, following a first-inning leadoff single by DJ LeMahieu with a two-run homer to right-center field. The big slugger was limited to 28 games during the condensed 2020 regular season due to lingering right calf issues, but he has a clean bill of health here in late-September and will try to help the Bronx Bombers humble some more aces deep into October.
Cleveland Indians DFS Spin
Josh Naylor finished 4-for-4 with a homer and two runs scored in the Indians’ Wild Card Series Game 1 loss to the Yankees on Tuesday. Naylor doubled in the bottom of the second inning, hit a solo shot off in the bottom of the fourth, singled in the bottom of the seventh, and added another double for good measure in the bottom of the ninth. The first three of those four hits were against Gerrit Cole, who tallied 13 strikeouts against the other eight hitters in Cleveland’s starting lineup. It was just the fifth four-hit postseason game in Indians franchise history.
Yankees vs. Indians Betting Prediction
The Yankees are a perfect 5-0 in their last five games when playing the second game of a series, are 11-3 in their last 14 playoff games as a favorite and are now 6-0 in their last six games against the American League Central. On the other side, the Indians are now winless in their last seven playoff games and are 7-20 in their last 27 games when listed as an underdog. Cleveland’s done.
