New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Gary Sanchez belted his 13th home run of the season on Thursday afternoon against the Royals. It was a sixth-inning three-run shot off Royals reliever Anthony Swarzak. Sanchez also singled and scored in the first inning, finishing the day 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. The power-hitting catcher has been on a heater here in June and may be the favorite for American League Player of the Month honors.
Boston Red Sox DFS Spin
Red Sox placed INF Christian Arroyo on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 21, with a right knee contusion. Arroyo suffered the injury in a collision with teammate Enrique Hernandez on Sunday and wasn’t making enough progress on the side. He can return as early as next Thursday and might be ready then. The 26-year-old former first-round pick of the Giants leaves behind a .756 OPS with four homers and 19 RBI through 41 games this season with the Red Sox. Michael Chavis has been called up in a corresponding move.
Yankees vs. Red Sox Betting Prediction
The Yankees are 23-9 in their last 32 games versus the Red Sox and are 5-1 in their last six games at Fenway Park. They’ve also won four of their last five games, are 4-1 in their last five games after scoring five runs or more in their previous game and are a perfect 4-0 in their last four road games when facing an opponent like Boston that has a winning record. The Red Sox, meanwhile, are 8-22 in their last 30 games as a home underdog.
