New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI doubles Saturday as the Yankees lost to the Red Sox in extras. Rizzo knocked in Gleyber Torres on a double to right field in the top of the sixth. Then in the top of the 10th, he ripped a 104.4-mph double down the right-field line that gave the Yankees a late two-run lead. Rizzo missed a few games with a back issue, but it’s clear that he’s now feeling better.
Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a two-run walk-off single on Saturday against the Yankees. Verdugo came through for the Red Sox on multiple occasions in Saturday’s rip-roaring victory. His 99-mph single to left field tied the game up in the bottom of the eighth, and his 105.8-mph two-run single to right field in the bottom of the 10th walked off the Yankees. Verdugo is slashing .259/.305/.374 with six home runs over 331 plate appearances.
