Yankees vs. Twins Prediction
Even though Gerrit Cole is on the hill for the Yankees, is the over still a solid play for Thursday night’s series finale between New York and the Twins at Target Field? First pitch is set for 7:40 p.m. ET.
Game Snapshot

New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Gleyber Torres went 0-for-3 with a walk versus the Twins in Wednesday’s loss. Giancarlo Stanton’s return seems likely to result in fewer at-bats for Torres, even though Torres has been quite good in recent weeks. Unfortunately, Torres is 1-for-13 in his last four games. The Yankees simply have tough decisions to make every day while everyone is healthy.
Minnesota Twins DFS Spin
Byron Buxton went 2-for-4 and hit his 13th homer Wednesday versus the Yankees. Buxton probably should have been put on the IL with his sore knee a couple of weeks ago, but perhaps he’s starting to come out of his slump now. He’s 6-for-16 with two homers in his last four games, though he’s also fanned eight times during that span.
Yankees vs. Twins MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The over is 34-15-2 in the last 51 meetings between these two teams and is 22-8-3 in the last 33 meetings at Target Field. The over is also 6-2 in the Yankees’ last eight games after allowing five runs or more in their previous game and is 3-1-1 in their last five games versus a right-handed starter. On the other side, the over is 4-0-1 in the Twins’ last five games overall and is 4-0-1 in their last five games as an underdog.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: YANKEES/TWINS OVER 8.5
