Hill perfect through 7 innings against Miami

MIAMI (AP) Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill has pitched seven perfect innings against the Miami Marlins on Saturday night, with left fielder Yasiel Puig making an outstanding diving catch for the final out of the seventh.
The 35-year-old left-hander struck out nine and threw 89 pitches.
Martin Prado hit a drive to deep left-center with two outs in the seventh. Puig sprinted and as he approached the warning track dived toward the wall and made the catch 356 feet from the plate.
Hill had just three complete games in 90 big league starts over 12 seasons coming in.
Los Angeles led 5-0, and Joe Blanton was warming up as the Dodgers batted in the eighth.
