HOUSTON (AP) -Florida starter Sergio Mitre left the Marlins’ game against Houston on Tuesday night after one out with an apparent problem with a finger on his throwing hand.
Mitre struck out Craig Biggio and Morgan Ensberg had a 2-2 count when the pitcher was replaced by Kevin Gregg.
Mitre appeared to be rubbing a finger on his pitching hand, but the exact nature of his injury was not immediately known.
