Johnson wins again
Jimmie Johnson won his second-straight NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Saturday night, as he took home the checker flag in the NASCAR Banking 500.
Bet On Nascar According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, Johnson had odds of 3/1 to win the race before the event, meaning a $100 bet on Johnson to win will pay out $300.
Johnson led 92 of 334 laps to get the win. Johnson now leads the Sprint Cup Series by 90 points over Mark Martin, who came in 17th on the night.
Jeff Gordon finished fourth, but led late into the race to jump two spots in the standings to third place, 135 points behind Johnson.
Juan Pablo Montoya had a rough night, finishing 35th to fall three spots in the standings to sixth place, 195 points out of first. The drop likely ends any chance of Montoya winning the Nextel Cup.
Matt Kenseth finished second, Kasey Kahne took third, and Joey Logano was fifth to round out the top five on Saturday.
