Hamlin Wins Penn 500
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series held the Pennsylvania 500 from Pocono Raceway Monday afternoon and Denny Hamlin got his first victory of 2009 by taking the checker flag after a late pass of Clint Bowyer.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL, Hamlin entered the race with a betting line of 7/1, meaning that a bet of $100 on Hamlin will pay out $700.
Hamlin led 91 of 200 laps in Monday’s race, which featured 11 different leaders.
Pre-race favorite, Jimmie Johnson, who entered with odds of 5/1, finished 13th after falling three laps behind the leaders during the race. Johnson battled back to get on the lead lap, but couldn’t break the top 10.
Bowyer entered Monday’s race with 30/1 odds to win and came in with a solid third place finished while Sam Hornish Jr. was a 100/1 long shot, but finished fourth.
