Denny Hamlin took home the checker flag in the Tums Fast Relief 500 for the second-straight year on Sunday.
Bet On Nascar According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, Hamlin had odds of 5/1 to win the race before the event, meaning a $100 bet on Hamlin to win will pay out $500.
Hamlin led 206 of the 500 laps to earn the victory and push him from 11th in the standings to ninth. The win was his third of the season.
Points leader Jimmie Johnson extended his lead in the standings by finishing in second. Johnson led 164 laps on the day and now leads the standings by 118 points over Mark Martin, who finished eighth on Sunday.
Juan Pablo Montoya, Kyle Busch, and Jeff Gordon rounded out the top five. Gordon remains in third in the standings, 150 behind Johnson, while Montoya moved up to fifth place, 200 points back.
