5-Hour Energy 250 Odds
The 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series is winding down and this week the drivers head to Gateway International Raceway for the 5-Hour Energy 250.
The Favorite
Brad Keselowski is favored to win the event with 6/5 odds according to oddsmakers at the online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are Carl Edwards (2/1), Justin Allgair (6/1), and Reed Sorenson (6/1).
Keselowski is the current points leader this season by 450 points over Edwards. Keselowski has five wins and 22 top 5’s on the year, but he has not won this event in his career.
Past Winners
Edwards won the July race at Gateway and also took home the 2008 and 2006 races. Sorenson is also a previous winner and he won the race in 2007 and 2005.
Season Standings
Allgair sits four in the points behind Keselowski, Edwards, and Kyle Busch. Busch is not racing this weekend. Allgair is 851 points out of first. He has one win and seven top 5’s on the year. Paul Menard is fifth in the standings, 1,025 points back. Menard is winless this year and has 9/1 odds to win on Saturday
