AMP Energy Juice 500 Odds
Some new faces are among the favorites to win at Talladega Superspeedway this week for the running of the 2010 AMP Energy Juice 500.
Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin are typically favored to win each Sprint Cup race, but this week, Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick are the favorites according to oddsmakers at the online sports book Sportsbook.com. The two each have 7/1 odds to win while Kyle Busch has 8/1 odds and Jamie McMurray has 9/1 odds. Johnson and Hamlin each have 15/1 odds to win.
Harvick is trailing Johnson for the points lead by 62 points and he is 56 points behind Hamlin for second place. Harvick has three wins on the year and at Talladega, he has one win. He has an average finish of 15.5 and a driver rating of 75.3 at this track.
Stewart is seventh in the point standings with two wins on the year. Stewart has one win at Talladega in his career with an average finish of 14.8 and a driver rating of 89.0
Kyle Busch is fourth in the point standings and he has three wins on the year. He has won once at Talladega with an average finish of 23.2 and a driver rating of 79.7.
McMurray is 13th in the standings, outside of the Chase for the Championship. McMurray won the 2009 race at Talladega and he has a 84.4 driver rating at the track.
