This race features some of the top stars of the Sprint Cup Series and Kevin Harvick is favored to win this week’s race.
Harvick is a 3/1 favorite to win the race according to odds makers at the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Carl Edwards (4/1), Kyle Busch (4/1), and Joey Logano (5/1).
Harvick won this event in 2006 and has finished in the top 10 each year since then, including a fifth place finish in 2009. Harvick sits fifth in the standings, 61 points behind Edwards. He has raced in five events, winning two of them and placing in the top five in four of them. Harvick has won two of the last three races he has competed in.
Edwards finished in the top five of this race in 2008-06. Edwards holds a 16-point lead in the standings over Brad Keselowski, as he has finished in the top six of each event. Edwards doesn’t have a win this season.
Busch is the defending series champion and he won this event in 2008. He is currently fourth in the standings, 56 points behind Edwards. Busch has won one event this season and finished third in two others.
Joey Logano finished fourth in this race a year ago. He is seventh in the standings, 231 points out of first. Logano has raced in four Nationwide races this season, finishing in the top five just once and in the top 10 three times.
