DRIVE4COPD 300 Odds
The opening race of the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series has plenty of star power as Sprint Cup veterans will compete in the DRIVE4COPD 300 on Saturday from Daytona International Speedway.
While Danica Patrick is making her Nationwide debut, she has long odds of 20/1 to win. Tony Stewart enters the race as the favorite to win.
Stewart is a 5/2 favorite to win the race according to odds makers at the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (7/2), Dale Earnhardt Jr. (5/1), and Kevin Harvick (5/1).
Stewart is a four-time winner of this event and the two-time defending champion. Stewart has three wins in 22 career starts on this track for the Sprint Cup Series. He also has finished in the top five seven times at Daytona in his career.
Kyle Busch is the defending Nationwide Series champion, as he won nine of 35 races last season. In Sprint Cup action, he has raced 10 times in Daytona, winning one event. In last year’s event, he placed fourth.
Earnhardt Jr. is a three-time winner of this event and he placed seventh last year. Earnhardt won the 2004 Daytona 500 and he has raced on the track 20 times in Sprint Cup series. Earnhardt competed in seven Nationwide races last year and didn’t finish better than third.
Harvick won this event in 2007. He competed in 22 Nationwide races last year, winning two events. He is also a past Nationwide series champion. He finished 11th in this race last year.
