O’Reilly 300 Odds

The seventh race in the Nationwide series features all the regulars and Kyle Busch has emerged as the favorite to win.
Busch is a 3/2 favorite to win the race according to odds makers at the online sports book BroburySports.com. Other short odds to win are Joey Logano (3/1), Kevin Harvick (9/2), and Carl Edwards (5/1).
Busch is the two-time defending champion of this race. He has also placed seventh in 2007 and fourth in 2006. Busch is currently third in the standings, 15 points behind leader Brad Keselowski. Busch won two races this season and finished third in two others.
Logano took 12th in this race a year ago, and he is currently seventh in the standings, 246 points behind Keselowski. Logano’s top finish third year has been fifth, but he has finished no worse than 14th.
Harvick won this event in 2001 and he also finished eighth in 2006. Harvick is fourth in the standings, 45 points out of the lead. Harvick has won two events this season and finished outside the top five just once.
Carl Edwards is currently second in the standings, four points of out first. Edwards has finished in the top six in all six races this year, but not picked up a victory. Edwards has finished outside the top 10 in this race in three of the last four years.
