2014 NASCAR AAA 400 Results: Jeff Gordon Pays Out 6/1

Gordon wins AAA 400

DOVER, DE (TheSpread) – Jeff Gordon got a needed win on Sunday, taking the NASCAR AAA 400 from Dover.

Gordon had a strong showing all day, leading a total of 98 laps to get first. He finished ahead of Brad Keselowski, who also had a strong day, leading a total of 78 laps. Gordon joins Keselowski and Joey Logano as winners during the Chase for the Championship.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Gordon had 6/1 odds to win this race coming into the week, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $600.

Gordon has moved up to fifth in points, 23 points behind Keselowski for first place. Aric Almirola, Greg Biffle, Kurt Busch and A.J Allmendinger were eliminated from the Chase for having the four lowest point totals after the first three races. Kasey Kahne made the cut by 2 points.
