Jeff Kyle 400 Picks

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drives on the famed pavement of Indianapolis Motor Speedway today for the Jeff Kyle 400. Which drivers should you bet on for this race?

View Current NASCAR Odds

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kevin Harvick is favored to win this race with 7/2 odds to win while Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch each have 7/1 odds. The Jeff Kyle 400 takes place on Sunday at 3:49PM ET from Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch is on a torrid run right now and you can’t pass him up. He has won three of the last four races and still needs to climb up in the standings to make the Chase due to his injury early in the year. Busch has an average finish of 10.6 at Indy and a strong driver rating of 98.5. Look for him to push for another win again today.

Jimmie Johnson is also a strong play at 7/1. He is a four-time winner of this event despite having just an average finish of 15.5. However, his driver rating is among the best in the field at Indy, sitting at 108.1. If he avoids any car trouble and a wreck, there is no doubt he should be in contention to win at the end.

If you are looking for a long shot, Jamie McMurray may be your man. He comes into today’s race with 30/1 odds, but of the drivers without a win in 2015, he’s been the best. McMurray has seven top 10s and two top 5s this year and he tends to do better at fast tracks. While his point total is strong, he could use a win to secure his spot in the Chase and this may be his best opportunity. He’s won at Indy before and can do it again today.
