2018 NASCAR Cup Odds
With the 2017 NASCAR Monster Energy Series wrapped up, here’s a look at the odds to win the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup in 2018.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is the favorite to take the title in 2018, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Larson, Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick, who are each listed with 5/1 odds to claim the championship.
Busch won the playoffs in 2015 for his only championship. He has since reached the final race the last two years, placing third in 2016 and second this past season. Busch won a total of five races this year.
Larson has never won the championship but he had a bit of a breakout this year as well, winning four races. He failed to get to the third stage of the Chase, though, and has yet to reach the final race in his four seasons in the series.
Truex broke through this year to claim the NASCAR Cup for his first series championship. His previous best finish was fourth. Truex won eight races in the 2017 season.
Harvick is a former playoff winner as well, winning in 2013. He has also made the finale race for the Cup in four of the last five years. Harvick finished third in 2017 and had two wins this year.
