Ally 400 Betting Prediction
OPTION 1: Ross Chastain (+550)
Chastain has been a driver on the rise and is now just 16 points behind Chase Elliott for second place. Last year at Nashville, Chastain finished second and he has a good history of running well on hot tracks. Nashville runs hot in general, but the last two weeks have been very hot. Chastain should be in the mix this afternoon.
OPTION 2: Kyle Larson (+600)
Nashville Superspeedway was added to the Cup schedule for the 2021 season, with Hendrick Motorsports driver Larson taking the win en route to a championship. Last year, his teammate Elliott won in the second race on the 1.33-mile track and in NASCAR’s modern era (since 1972), it’s just the sixth instance of a team winning the first two races of a track. Since Larson joined Hendrick for the 2021 season, those drivers lead the series in wins.
OPTION 3: Bubba Wallace (+1700)
Wallace is a two-time Cup Series winner, but both of those moments came in the playoffs as a non-playoff driver. Due to this fact, Wallace is still looking for his first playoff appearance and is hanging around the postseason cut line at the moment. Tonight, he’ll be making his 200th career Cup Series start and in the playoff era (since 2004), several drivers have come close to winning in their 200th career start. While Kevin Harvick in 2006 is the only driver to win in his 200th career start, Elliott (2021), Larson (2019) and Kyle Busch (2010) all finished second, respectively, while Daniel Suarez (2022), Denny Hamlin (2011) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (2005) all finished third, respectively. Wallace has history on his side to at least compete near the top tonight.
