Coca-Cola 600 Betting Odds
Kyle Larson is the odds favorite for this evening’s Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte Motor Speedway at +420. William Byron, meanwhile, is +600 to take the checkered flag tonight, while Denny Hamlin is +700, Martin Truex Jr. is +850 and both Chase Elliott and Ross Chastain are +900, respectively. Kyle Busch is +1100, followed by Christopher Bell at +1200 and Tyler Reddick at +1600. Bubba Wallace is +1700, followed by Kevin Harvick at +1800.
Coca-Cola 600 Betting Predictions
OPTION 1: Kevin Harvick (+1800)
Harvick is a two-time winner of this race (2011, 2013) and has three runner-up finishes as well. Racing in his final Cup Series season, Harvick could join a select group of drivers with six-plus top-2 finishes in this race. Denny Hamlin is the current defending champ, but he would also be the first driver to repeat as 600 champion since Jimmie Johnson won three straight from 2003-05. I don’t see that happening; plus Harvick’s odds are more attractive.
OPTION 2: Martin Truex Jr. (+850)
Truex Jr. is a two-time 600 winner and is one of two active full-time 600 winners that is competing this evening. (The other driver is the aforementioned Harvick.) Truex Jr. will also attempt to be the ninth driver to be a three-time 600 champion. While he’s coming off a 14th place finish in the All-Star Race last weekend and a 31st finish at Darlington three weeks ago after earning the pole, Truex isn’t too far removed from winning at Dover and finishing 8th at Kansas. He’s in good shape to run finish near the top this evening.
OPTION 3: Chase Elliott (+900)
Elliott has finished runner-up twice in this race in the last three years (2020, 2021), but has yet to win it. Will tonight be the night? No driver has three runner-up finishes in the 600 without a win, so if he’s close, at least history will be in his favor to grab the elusive checkered flag tonight at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
