Mexican Grand Prix Picks
The Formula 1 Series takes another step toward the end of the 2016 season with the Mexican Grand Prix today. Here are some drivers we like to contend.
The Mexican Grand Prix takes place today at 2PM ET from the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. The race is a 190-mile contest that will run 71 laps around the track. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are co-favorites to win, as each has +110 odds. Daniel Ricciardo is listed with 12/1 odds to win.
Nico Rosberg got the win in this race last year and he needs to find a way to keep Hamilton off his 26-point lead in the standings with three races to go. Rosberg has a series-best nine wins this year and should be right in the mix to get another win today.
Lewis Hamilton is in desperation mode, knowing he needs wins to have any chance at winning another F1 series title. He is a seven-time winner on the year and he placed second to Rosberg in this race a year ago, so you know he wants to return the favor today.
Daniel Ricciardo is third in the point standings, so he has been able to perform near the front of the field consistently. He has one win on the year with four runner-up finishes. It’s hard for Rosberg or Hamilton to not win, but if they should slip up, Ricciardo is the most likely to capitalize.
