Kyle Larson is +500 to win today’s Goodyear 400, followed by Martin Truex Jr. at +700 and Ross Chastain +750. William Byron, meanwhile, is +850, followed by Denny Hamlin at +900 and both Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick is +1100. Continuing with the odds, Christopher Bell is +1200, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano are +1300, respectively, while Kevin Harvick and Ryan Blaney are +1600, respectively. Bubba Wallace is also +1800.
Goodyear 400 Betting Prediction
OPTION 1: Denny Hamlin (+900)
Hamlin picked up a win last weekend at Kansas and now has top-5 finishes in three of his last four races. He’s also a four-time winner at Darlington, picking up his most recent checkered flag in 2021. Currently at 368 points, Hamlin ranks fourth in the standings and in his 12 starts, he has one win five top-10s and three top-5s. He’s going to be difficult to deal with today on a track he seems to love.
OPTION 2: Martin Truex Jr. (+700)
Truex Jr. crashed in the closing laps of this race a year ago but don’t discount the fact that he had a top-5 car. He led 248 laps on Mother’s Day in 2021 and finished fourth. In two races at Darlington a year ago, he finished 24th and 31st, respectively, and didn’t finish in either race. Again though, he had a great car and would have contended for the win had he not crashed.
OPTION 3: William Byron (+850)
Byron nearly won this race a year ago and already has two wins under his belt this season. He has finished fifth, fourth, 13th and eighth in four of his last five starts at Darlington and while he has yet to best the track, Byron has raced well here after some early-career struggles on the egg-shaped oval.
