Updated Sprint Cup Odds
The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is now down to its final eight contenders. Which driver is going to emerge as the winner of this year’s title?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kevin Harvick is now a 3/1 favorite to repeat as champion while Joey Logano and Kyle Busch each have 4/1 odds and Carl Edwards comes in with 7/1 odds. The current field of eight drivers have been all set at 4000 points and four will advance to the final race of the year after the next three weeks concludes. Any driver that wins one of the next three advances to the final stage and then the remaining drivers are determined on points over the next three races. The third stage of the chase will consist of races at Martinsville Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway.
Harvick is the defending series champion and he has three wins to his credit this year. He just narrowly made the cut in each of the last two stages.
Logano has never won the Sprint Cup championship. He won all three races of the second stage and has six wins to his credit this year.
Busch has also never won the Sprint Cup championship. He was the final driver to make the cut for the third stage and he has four wins in 2015.
Edwards has never won the Sprint Cup championship either. He has two wins to his credit this year but has been steady all year.
