Hollywood Casino 400 Betting Predictions
OPTION 1: Bubba Wallace (+2000)
Looking for an interesting long shot to either win the Hollywood Casino 400 or crack the top-3? Look no further than Bubba Wallace, who will start sixth in today’s grid. Seven of the last 11 Kansas winners have come from the top-5 of the starting lineup, which includes three of the last four. In fact, 11 of the last 13 winners at Kansas started in top-6 rows, while Toyota has won four of the last six races here, including six of the last 11. Toyota has fielded some of the fastest entries on 1.5-mile tracks and bigger this season, so I’d look for Wallace to be in the mix for the checkered flag.
OPTION 2: Christopher Bell (+550)
Not much value but regular readers know that I won’t hesitate to include the favorite (or in this case, co-favorite) as part of my card if he makes sense. And when it comes to Bell, it makes sense. Again, seven of the last 11 winners here have come from the top-5 of the starting lineup, 11 of the last 13 Kansas winners started in the top-6 rows and Toyota has claimed four of the last six winners here, including six of the last 11. Everything I mentioned in my writeup for Wallace above applies to Bell, who has three top-10s in his five appearances at Kansas Speedway and one top-5. He also led for 37 laps in the Spring race (fifth place result) here and should contend late.
OPTION 3: Martin Truex Jr. (+800)
Another Toyota option that just sneaks into the top-6 rows today at Kansas. Truex is a two-time NASCAR Cup Series winner at Kansas Speedway and swept the track’s races during his 2017 championship season. He has posted six consecutive top-10 finishes and 10 top-10s in his past 11 starts at the 1.5-mile track and when the Cup Series came here back in May, he started ninth and finished sixth. Consider Truex for your head-to-head matchup props today.
