2019 NASCAR Cup Series Odds
With the 2018 NASCAR Season wrapped up for a few weeks, it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup odds. Here’s who oddsmakers like to claim the title next year.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch are co-favored to win the title, as each has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win the Cup are Martin Truex Jr. (6/1), Kyle Larson (7/1) and Chase Elliott (7/1).
Harvick finished third in this year’s NASCAR season and had eight wins in 2018. He was the 2014 Cup Series champion and has finished in the top four in five of the last six seasons.
Busch was fourth in the standings this year and also had eight wins in 2018. Busch was the 2015 Series champion and he has finished in the top four the last four years.
Truex Jr. places second in the standings this year after winning the Cup in 2017. He had four wins in 2018. Truex has placed in the top four of the standings in three of the last four years.
Larson failed to crack the top eight of the standings this year and was winless in 2018. Over his career, Larson hasn’t finished in the top four any year.
Elliott finished sixth in the Cup standings this year. He finished 2018 with three wins. Elliott has finished sixth or better the last two years, but he hasn’t cracked the top four yet in his career.
