Alsco 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series begins a busy racing weekend on Saturday with the Alsco 300 at Charlotte. Here’s three drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Brad Keselowski is the favorite in this race, getting +175 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Christopher Bell (+450) and Jamie McMurray (+1000). The Alsco 300 takes place Saturday at 1PM ET from Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina and will air live on FS1.
Brad Keselowski +175
Keselowski hasn’t competed in the series much lately, but he won the only race he has driven in this year. He also is a former winner of this event, taking the title in 2012 while finishing sixth last year and second in 2014. Keselowski is the biggest name in this field and should be the man to beat this afternoon.
Christopher Bell +450
Bell is in his first full year of Xfinity Series driving, but he did compete in this race last year and managed a fourth-place finish. This year, Bell is having a very nice run. He has one victory to his credit along with five other top-5 finishes. Bell has been one of the most consistent regulars in the series this year. I think he should be able to put together another strong race.
Chase Elliott +1400
Elliott is another Monster Energy Cup Series regular that is competing on the Xfinity circuit today. It is just his second Xfinity race of the year, but he certainly is a driver that is capable of winning. He has three top-10 finishes out of four Xfinity races at Charlotte in his career. Elliott has also finished second at Charlotte in the Cup Series. His ability should help carry him to the front of the field.
