FanShield 500 Predictions

The 2020 NASCAR Monster Energy Series heads to Phoenix this afternoon for the running of the FanShield 500. Here’s some drivers we like to contend for the victory.

According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is the favorite today, as he is listed with +325 odds. Other short odds to win are Martin Truex Jr. (+475), Kevin Harvick (+600) and Denny Hamlin (+600). The 2020 FanShiled 500 takes place on Sunday, March 8 at 3:30PM ET from Phoenix Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bet on NASCAR Odds

Kevin Harvick +600

This has been a dominant race for Harvick as he has won the race five times in his career. Altogether at Phoenix, Harvick has collected a total of nine victories. His average finish of 8.0, and driver rating of 110.5, rank best in the field at this track. Harvick has finished in the top 10 in all three races this year and there is no reason to believe he won’t be among the top contenders today at one of his best tracks.

Chase Elliott +1000

Elliott has yet to win in Phoenix over eight races, but he still has some pretty good performances. His average finish there is 13.8, while his driver rating is 102.5. Elliott is a driver that seems to be getting better with each season and he is coming off a fourth-place finish last weekend. I think he can build off that this week in Phoenix and push for his first win at the track. He hasn’t finished worse than 14th in this race, so I like his value as someone that is always in contention here.

Ryan Blaney +1200

Blaney is another driver that seems to be on the cusp of really taking his game to the next level. Today he has 12/1 odds, but I think that is good value for a guy at the top of the current standings. Blaney has finished inside the top 20 in seven consecutive races, dating back to last season. That includes a runner-up finish at Daytona. Today he’s in Phoenix, where he has won two poles and has four top-10 finishes in eight races. Blaney is a guy that is consistently in the mix. Now he just needs his team to be on its game to get you a big payday.
