Hollywood Casino 400 Predictions
The NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series waves the green flag on the Hollywood Casino 400, the final race of the second stage of the Chase. Here’s the drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, both Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick are co-favored to win, as each has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Larson (4/1) and Martin Truex Jr. (9/2). The Hollywood Casino 400 takes place today at 2:30PM ET from Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The race will air live on NBC.

Larson is nearly in a must-win situation today to advance to the final eight of the Chase. He is 11th in the standings right now, so he at least needs a strong run. His numbers aren’t great at Kansas, as he is winless with an average finish of 19.1 over nine races. However, he does have a driver rating of 91.4. Given the circumstances, I feel strongly that Larson will be amongst the leaders.
53001 Brad Keselowski 8/1
Keselowski is in a similar spot as Larson, as he is on the outside of the top 8 right now as well. He needs a good run today at Kansas. Keselowski is a former winner at the track and has an average finish of 13.2 there over 17 races. He has a driver rating of 90.3 at Kansas as well. Keselowski had picked up numerous wins over the last few months and should be able to push for another today. With his aggressive nature, he won’t be shy on the track today.
53008 Ryan Blaney 12/1
Blaney is another of the four drivers on the outside of the top 8 right now. He was able to close the first stage with a win and I think he can do it again on Sunday. Kansas has been a pretty good track for him. Over seven races, he has an average finish of 13.9 and a driver rating of 95.9. Given the longer odds, I think Blaney provides a lot of value as a dark horse to win this race. He provided a great payout for his last win and can do the same today.
