Camping World 500 Picks

The NASCAR Monster Energy Series gets back into swing today with the Camping World 500? Here’s our picks for today’s race.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kevin Harvick is the favorite to win, as he has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to prevail are Joey Logano (6/1), Kyle Busch (8/1) and Chase Elliott (8/1). The Camping World 500 takes place today at 3:30PM ET from Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, AZ.

Bet on the Camping World 500

Kevin Harvick has dominated at this track, picking up eight wins in 28 starts. He also has finished in the top 5 on 13 different occasions while putting up an average finish of 10.0. His driver rating here is also 110.7, which ranks second in today’s field. Look for Harvick to have another strong run today.

Kyle Busch is coming off a fight with Joey Logano last week and the 2017 seasons hasn’t gotten off to a great start for him. I see that changing some today. Busch has won at Phoenix before and his driver rating here is 98.4, which ranks fourth in the field. Busch should be motivated to get to the winner’s circle today after last week’s fiasco.

Denny Hamlin has 15/1 odds to win today and I like those odds for him. Hamlin has one win at Phoenix in his career while his average finish is 10.870. He also brings in a driver rating of 95.6, which puts him sixth in today’s field. He sits 16th in the standings right now, so he could use an improved showing today to get back in the mix in points.
