Kobalt 400 Picks

The NASCAR Monster Energy Series drives in Sin City today for the Kobalt 400. Here’s our picks for the big race.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Brad Keselowsk is the current favorite with 5/1 odds. Other short odds to prevail are Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick, who each have 15/2 odds. The Kobalt 400 takes place on Sunday at 3:46PM ET from Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, NV.

Bet on the Kobalt 400

Kevin Harvick has been the top driver without a win in the first two races, but he’s arguably had a car capable of winning both events. Today he comes to Las Vegas with an average finish of 12.25 at the track and a driver rating of 99.6. That ranks third in today’s field. I think Harvick brings his best once again and will be the car to beat today.

Jimmie Johnson has 8/1 odds to win today and he is off to a poor start to the 2017 season. He currently sits 32nd in the standings but he is coming to a track where he has done very well. Johnson has four wins at Vegas with the top driver rating in the field of 113.4. Look for Johnson to bounce back in a big way today.

Matt Kenseth is our dark horse pick with 10/1 odds. He comes to Vegas as a three-time winner and his driver rating of 96.9 at the track is just behind Harvick. Kenseth sits 16th in the standings right now, so he could use a good performance today to build some momentum for the weeks ahead.
