Quaker State 400 Picks
The 2017 NASCAR Monster Energy Series drives under the lights later tonight with the Quaker State 400. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. are co-favorites to win, as each has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Brad Keselowski and Kyle Larson, who each have 11/2 odds. The Quaker State 400 takes place tonight at 7:30PM ET from Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky.
Kyle Busch can’t be passed up at this track. His numbers over six races are by far the best of any other driver in the field. He has won two of the six races at Kentucky and his average finish at the track is an impressive 5.167. His driver rating there is 125.6. Busch has been near the front every time at Kentucky and it shouldn’t be any different tonight. I think he’s the man to beat.
Brad Keselowski is the closest to Busch in terms of stats at this track. He has actually won three of the six raced at Kentucky, while finishing in the top-10 in five of them. His average finish at this track is 8.2 and his driver rating is 119.2. Keselowski certainly knows how to get to the front of the pack in this race and he and Busch should battle it out all night.
Matt Kenseth has 18/1 odds to win tonight. He has had great success at Kentucky as well. He is the only other driver to win a race at this track other than Busch and Keselowski. He has finished in the top-10 in all six races as well, making his average finish 5.2. His driver rating there is 107.9. Kenseth isn’t have a tremendous year as of yet, so this is a track he can really try and make up some ground in the standings.
