LifeLock 400 Odds
The 2009 LifeLock 400 runs this Sunday, June 14 from Michigan International Speedway and oddsmakers have made Carl Edwards the early favorite.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.COM have made Edwards a 5/1 favorite to win this year’s running of the LifeLock 400. Other drivers with short odds to win this week are Greg Biffle at 13/2, Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson at 7/1, and Tony Stewart at 8/1.
Edwards enters this race ranked No. 6 in NASCAR’s Spring Cup Series Standings with 1,762 points. In 14 starts this season, he has three top 5 finishes and seven top 10s, but is still looking for that elusive first victory. Maybe it’ll come this week at Michigan International Speedway, a track he won on in 2007 (Citizens Bank 400).
Biffle is currently ranks seventh in the standings with 1,753 points and has also failed to capture his first victory of the season. In 14 starts, he has four top 5 finishes and seven top 10s. Like Edwards, Biffle has had some success on this track in previous years, winning here June 19, 2005 (Batman Begins 400).
Stewart currently leads all drivers in the Sprint Cup Series Standings with 2,043 points. In 14 starts this season, he has one win, seven top 5 finishes and 10 top 10s. At 8/1 odds to win, he presents a ton of value.
Even though he won this event last year, Dale Earnhardt Jr. finds himself as a 30/1 long shot to win the LifeLock 400. Earnhardt Jr. has struggled so far this season, ranking 20 in the standings with 1,434 points, one top 5 finish and three top 10s.
Kasey Kahne is a driver to keep an eye on this weekend at 12/1 odds to win. He won at Michigan International Speedway two years ago (3M Performance 400) and in 14 starts this season, has one top five finish and four top 10s.
The LifeLock 400 will take place this Sunday, June 14 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. For complete odds on Sunday’s race, as well as information about the track, see below.
