Despite having just raced in one Nationwide event this year, Marcos Ambrose is favored to take the checker flag on Sunday.
Ambrose carries a betting line of +225 according to online sports book Sportsbook.com. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (+250), Ron Fellows (+500), and Carl Edwards (+600).
Ambrose is considered a road-course expert, which is why he is making his return to the Nationwide series this weekend. Ambrose won his only other Nationwide race, the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International, another road course race.
Busch has also had success on road courses, taking second at the Zippo 200 while also winning on road courses in the Sprint Cup Series in 2008. Busch leads the Nationwide standings and has finished in the top three in 11 of his last 12 Nationwide races.
Fellows is another road course expert, with his only Nationwide race also being the Zippo 200, where he finished fifth. Fellows won this event last year and he also has driven in both Sprint Cup road course races this season, finishing outside the top 25.
Edwards finished third at the Zippo 200 and has finished in the top six in nine of his last 10 Nationwide races.
