Pure Michigan 400 Odds
BROOKLYN, MI (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads back to Michigan International Speedway this week for the Pure Michigan 400. Here is a look at the odds for this race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kevin Harvick is a 9/2 favorite to win this weekend while Kyle Busch has 7/1 odds. There are six other drivers with 8/1 odds to win. The Pure Michigan 400 takes place on Sunday, August 16 at 2:46PM ET from Michigan International Speedway.
Harvick is the current points leader by 42 on the field. He has two wins and 15 top 5s on the year. Harvick has one win at Michigan in his career with an average finish of 13.6 and a driver rating of 91.5 at the track.
Busch is 30th in the standings due to missing time with an injury, but he has a series-best four wins in 2015. Busch won this race back in 2011 but Michigan hasn’t been a great track for him as of late, as he has finished outside the top 30 in his last four appearances at Michigan.
Of the drivers with 8/1 odds, Matt Kenseth has the best numbers. Kenseth is a two-time winner at Michigan and his average finish at the track is 10.5. He also has a 102.0 driver rating at MIS.
