Sprint All-Star Race Odds
CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series puts on its annual Sprint All-Star Race this weekend. Here is a look at the odds for this exhibition.
This race features five different segments. There are four 25-lap segments with the winners of each segment getting to start 1-4 at the final 10-lap sprint to the finish. There will be a four-tire pit stop before the final segment. Drivers that have a win from last year’s race to this year’s race are eligible along with the two drivers that win a 20-lap segment in the Sprint Showdown earlier in the day. A fan vote also is done to allow one driver to get a free pass.
According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Kevin Harvick is favored to win this race, as he has 7/2 odds. Brad Keselowski, Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano and Kurt Busch each have been listed with 6/1 odds. The Sprint All-Star Race will take place from Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 16 at 9:26PM ET.
Harvick won this event back in 2007. He is the current points leader by 46 on the field. He has two wins this year. Harvick has an average finish of 9.9 in this race.
Keselowski has never won this event. He is currently sixth in the point standings, 94 points out of first. He has one win on the year. His average finish in this event is 12.7.
Johnson is a four-time winner of this race, last winning in 2013. Johnson is third in the standings, 48 points out of first. He has three wins this year. Johnson has an average of 6.2 at this race.
Logano has never won this race. Logano is fourth in the standings, 62 points out of first place. He has one win this year. Logano has an average finish of 8.8 in this event.
Busch won this race back in 2010. Busch is 14th in the standings, 145 points out of first. He has one win this season. Busch’s average finish in this competition is 10.4.
