NASCAR Odds: Kyle Busch wins Windows 10 400 pole, Harvick still favored

Busch wins Pocono pole

LONG POND, PA (TheSpread) – Kyle Busch continues his NASCAR hot streak, as he won the pole for the Windows 10 400 on Friday. Here is an updated look at the odds for the race.

According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Kevin Harvick is still the favorite at 7/2 to win, while Busch now has 9/2 odds. Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch and Martin Truex Jr. each have 8/1 odds. The Windows 10 400 takes place from Pocono Raceway on Sunday, August 2 at 1:48PM ET.

Harvick is the points leader in NASCAR by 69 points on the field. He has two wins and 14 top 5s this year. Harvick hasn’t won this race, but he finished second last year and was second at the first Pocono race in 2015. Harvick will start second on Sunday.

Busch is 32nd in the point standings, 483 points out of first. Busch missed some races this year due to injury, which is why he is so far back in points. Busch has four wins on the year, and has won the last three races. Busch has never won this race and he finished outside the top 5 the last three years. He was ninth in the first Pocono race of 2015.

Truex Jr. is fifth in the standings, 109 points out of first place. He has one win and six top 5s this year. He has yet to win this race, but got the victory at Pocono in the first race at this track in 2015. Truext qualified 13th for the race.

Kurt Busch is starting sixth on Sunday. Busch is eighth in the standings, 165 points out of first. He has two wins and seven top 5s on the year. Busch won this race back in 2007. He has finished in the top 10 in seven straight races.

Denny Hamlin will start from the 11th position tomorrow. He is 10th in the standings, 186 points out of first. Hamlin has one win and six top 5s on the year. Hamlin won this race back in 2009 and he has finished in the top five in three of his last four races.
