Pocono Green 250 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series kicks off the racing weekend on Saturday at 1PM ET with the running of the Pocono Green 250. Here’s some drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is the favorite to win, as he is getting odds of -120 to win. Other short odds to win is Christopher Bell (+500), Cole Custer (+800) and Paul Menard (+800). The Pocono Green 250 takes place Saturday at 1PM ET from Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania and will air live on FS1.
Kyle Busch -120
Busch competed in this race when it debuted in 2016 and finished fourth. This year hasn’t been great for Busch in the Xfinity Series, as he has failed to win the three races he’s been in. He also has just one top-5 finish. Still, Busch is the best driver in this field and will always be the man to beat when he competes in the Xfinity Series.
Christopher Bell +500
Bell is making his debut in this race, but he is having a great first full season in the Xfinity Series. He has picked up one win with two other runner-up finishes. He also has finished in the top 4 in seven of the 11 races held this season. Bell has proven he can always drive near the front of the pack. He should be there again today and can give Busch a run for his money.
Justin Allgaier +900
Allgaier was the runner-up in this race last year and he is having a strong 2018 season as well. He picked up a win at Dover a few weeks ago and has five other top-5 finished this year. He has only finished outside the top 10 four times in 11 races. Given his slightly longer odds, I think Allgaier has a lot of value for today’s race.
