Active Pest Control 200 Picks

Which NASCAR Truck Series follows up the Xfinity Series later today when drivers compete in the Active Pest Control 200. Here’s some drivers we expect to contend.

According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, Kyle Busch is favored to win this race, as he has -250 odds. Other short odds to win are Johnny Sauter (+550) and Matt Crafton (+850). The Active Pest Control 200 takes place today at 4:30PM ET from Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia.

Bet on NASCAR Odds

Kyle Busch is a two-time winner of this event and hard to pass up when he competes in the Truck Series. Busch won three of the seven races he drove in last year and has a high win percentage over his career in this series. It’s hard to imagine anyone being more qualified to win this race and somewhat of an upset if he doesn’t.

Matt Crafton won this race in 2015 and he finished runner-up a year ago. I think this is a track that he obviously performs well at. Crafton doesn’t have the skills to beat Busch man-to-man in this race, but he can do enough to stay near the front and capitalize if Busch has car issues or makes a mistake. After a 19th-place finish last week in Daytona, look for Crafton to bounce back today.

Noah Gragson is listed with +1500 odds for today’s race, but I think there is some value there. Gragson is coming off his first full season in the Truck Series last year. He started slow, but got better as the season went along. That included a win at Martinsville. Gragson now returns to Atlanta after finishing 15th here a year ago. I think his momentum from last season will start to carry over in these early races. I like him for a top-5 finish with the potential to steal the win.
