The TicketGuardian 500 takes place on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 3:30PM ET from ISM Raceway in Avondale, Arizona and will air live on FOX.

Kevin Harvick has won so much at this track, it should almost be named after him. He is an 8-time winner in Arizona with four wins coming in this very race. Harvick is on a nice hot streak, winning the last two Cup Series races. It is hard to imagine him not being the man to beat again today.

Denny Hamlin has had good results at Arizona as well. Over 25 races, he has 10 top-5 finishes with 14 top-10 finishes. Hamlin’s average finish is 11.8 and his driver rating is 96.0. He is also the winner of this race back in 2012. This year, Hamlin has put up a pair of top-5 finishes and I expect him to push Harvick for the victory today.

If you are looking for a real dark horse in the race today, I like Newman. He is one of few drivers in the field that has multiple wins in Arizona. Newman is also the defending champions of this event. Newman has finished 22nd or better in all three races this year and has placed 11th or better in two of them. He is doing enough to stay in the mix, which is all you need some weeks. Look for Newman to do more of the same this week and potentially capitalize on a big mistake from the leaders or a wreck up front to provide a big payout.
